What are POSTSAVER Wraps?
A Postsaver wrap is a heat shrinkable thermoplastic wrap lined with a meltable thermoplastic bituminous liner. Postsaver is heat applied to the post, which allows the inner layer to seal the wood to create a long-lasting air and water-tight seal over the ground line section. Unlike liquid coatings, which split and crack as posts expand and contract, Postsaver maintains a barrier. The wrap is applied to the post before installation.
